We are looking to partner with an individual to take charge of our family office’s bookkeeping functions, financial reporting, annual tax planning, and tax preparation for clients. The ideal candidate has an existing book of business and is looking to partner with a wealth management firm/family office to grow their business and provide proactive tax advice. The successful candidate will be an experienced tax accountant, most likely with experience as a staff member or senior in the tax department of a Big-4 or regional public accounting firm.
Duties may include, but not limited to, the following tasks:
Complete annual tax planningPrepare tax returnsBookkeeping for the company and various entitiesBookkeeping for business owner clientsExperience and Education:
2-4 years of tax experience with a public accounting firm or similarBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldCPA is a plusProficient in QuickBooks OnlineProficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Motivated to provide consistently exceptional service to family office and service providers- Ability to work independently and with a team, along with a strong desire to take on new challenges and responsibilities- Meticulous attention to detail; accurate and thorough- Highly organized with ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a task-oriented environment- Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically- Professional in demeanor and able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with a variety of people, including executives- Integrity and confidentially – background check and non-disclosure agreement are required
